ZohraNirmal is a family owned Indian Exporter & Manufacturer business founded by me and my brothers in 2006, I Sarfaraz Ahmad & my brother Shahnawaz Ahmad; now Directors in the company. Our roles as directors are clearly defined. While Shahnawaz handles field work; I, being physically challenged look after administration, production, technical, warehouse and distribution work to a large extent.
Why we expanded from fruit export business to detergent export and manufacturing is a story. After establishing fruit export business, we were exploring detergent segment. And we developed our flagship product called Shiner Plus. The year I think was 2007, our native town Samastipur (Bihar) was hit by floods.
During floods we volunteered as social workers and decided to donate Shiner Plus detergents and soaps to facilitate the less fortunate with quality hygiene products to help them stay clean and keep the diseases at bay as lives there looked really grim and neglected on health front.
The way our products were used and appreciated by NGOs & office bearers working there encouraged us to take up detergent and cleaning products manufacturing & export to the next level. Eventually Shiner Plus evolved and many other more sophisticated products were launched to cater to our exporters.
What was started in one room stands tall and successful with a team of 260 people who are with us today. When we started my brother would travel 30 kilometers everyday on cycle to sell the detergents. We offered free samples to our potential buyers and dealers; all the hard work paid and we built our first network of dealers in our district. We have not looked back since.
All our export clients are happy with our products and services and buy regularly from us. We’re equipped to meet the needs of a growing client base and regulatory requirements for technical and export documentations and formalities. We do hope we in the years to come our efforts will pay and we will add to our client base of exporters. We assure all our clients of delivering the best quality product in customized packaging at a great price.
